Lever Integration Process Tutorial

image   Pre-requisites for starting with Lever Integration.
  • Login to your InterviewVector & Lever account with credentials having admin access.
  • Create a new stage “InterviewVector” in your Lever account.
  • Enable Candidate Stage Change webhook in your Lever account.

How to create a new InterviewVector Stage in Lever?

Go to your Lever account and create a new stage called - “InterviewVector” in your pipeline. More information about this can be found here:

Note

On successfully creating a new InterviewVector Stage, your Lever Integration is established.

You shall be all set to start linking and configuring Lever Jobs with IV.

How to enable CANDIDATE STAGE CHANGE webhook?

  • In you Lever dashboard, go to the account integration settings: https://hire.lever.co/settings/integrations from a super admin user’s account
  • Move to the webhooks tab under these settings
  • Enable the “Candidate stage change” webhook if not already enabled in your account (ref. image below).
Note

On successfully creating a new InterviewVector Stage, your Lever Integration is established.

You shall be all set to start linking and configuring Lever Jobs with IV.

How to authenticate your Lever Account?

  • In the InterviewVector platform, navigate to the Integrations page from the left navigation bar.
  • Select Lever from the list and click on Authenticate.
  • In the modal select Grant Access by logging in with your lever credentials.
Note

On doing this, that particular Lever Job shall be linked with InterviewVector and will be ready to be configured as an Interview “Position” at InterviewVector.

How to add the “InterviewVector” tag in a Lever Job?

  • In Lever, go to jobs section.
  • Select the job you want to link with interviewVector and add the tag “InterviewVector”.
Note

On doing this, that particular Lever Job shall be linked with InterviewVector and will be ready to be configured as an Interview “Position” at InterviewVector.

How to configure the already linked (pending) Jobs as Positions at IV?

  • On the InterviewVector Dashboard, inside the Lever Integration section, you will see all the positions fetched from lever which are tagged for InterviewVector.
    • send-icon   If the Linked (pending) Jobs list does not list the job you are looking for or is empty , please click the Refresh button on the right hand side to fetch the updated list of Jobs with “InterviewVector” tag.
  • The user needs to configure each linked (pending) Position before scheduling interviews on InterviewVector Dashboard.
  • Click on configure - in the Position modal, please add the required details including - Category and Role, Round guide and then activate it.
Note

Each position needs to be configured only ONCE in our system. You can choose to update the details in future if needed

Life-Cycle of an IV Interview in Lever-ATS

How to Schedule an Interview?
  • In Lever, select the candidate you want to schedule an interview for via InterviewVector.
  • Move him to ‘’InterviewVector’’ stage in your Lever pipeline from the dropdown.
  • An interview will be created for this candidate on our platform by pulling all the relevant info from Lever. As part of this, an automatic email will be sent to the candidate by InterviewVector, from which the candidate can auto schedule the interview or give his/her preferred slots.
  • Also, the same link to schedule interview (or give preferred slots) will be posted on the Lever Opportunity in the form of a note addressed to the owner of the application.
  • Once the interview is scheduled, a notification will be triggered and interview details can be viewed on the Candidates page of Lever platform.
How to Get Feedback of a Completed Interview?
  • Once the interview is done, feedback for the interview can be viewed on lever platform in the “feedback section’’ of the Lever Opportunity.
  • A note indicating that the feedback has been uploaded is also posted on the Lever Opportunity.
  • The candidate can be moved to the next stage after the feedback has been uploaded.

Other FAQs

How to re-trigger the Interview creation of a candidate that failed earlier due to some missing information?
  • If a candidate is missing some crucial information like the EmailID, Contact Number, Resume, etc. that is critical for InterviewVector to create an interview, a error message is posted back on Lever platform in the form of a note with the error message as shown below.
  • Once the missing information has been updated, the client can use the link shared in the note containing the error message to re-trigger interview creation process with InterviewVector.
What happens if the interview is rescheduled or cancelled by the candidate?

A note is posted on the Lever Opportunity of the candidate indicating the same and the updated date & time (in case of reschedule) is reflected on the Lever platform.

What happens if I move a candidate out of InterviewVector stage before the interview is completed?

Any active interviews of that candidate with InterviewVector will be cancelled.

How do I deactivate a Lever job configured on InterviewVector platform?

You can remove the tag “InterviewVector” from the job and click the refresh button on InterviewVector dashboard’s Lever section to reflect that change on our platform.
